The Hon’ble Prime Minister has envisaged housing for all by the year 2022 on completion of 75 years of the independence of the nation. To achieve this objective, the Central Government has launched a comprehensive Mission Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Housing for All (Urban) Scheme Date. It has been started on 17.06.2015 and will be implemented by 31.03.2022 with the main objective of providing pucca roof to every poor family in India. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is operated in all the states of the urban country, in which 9195 houses have been approved in Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh out of which 7828 have been found eligible, out of which 4981 first installment, 4706 second installment and 2625 third installment have been given.
With 2625 completed houses, poor families will no longer have to spend their lives under open sky nor under dripping roofs. Due to its own roof, the life of poor families has become easy and beautiful.
